What would you have me to do, Father
It’s your will and not mine
What is your reason for birthing me
To be helpful to be the kind
🤷🏽♀️
Of person others can confide in
To lend a listening ear
Someone others can rely on
When depression is near
🤷🏽♀️
Them day and night
Tormenting their mind and soul
Am I to share what you did for me
How you cleansed and made me whole
🤷🏽♀️
Inside and outward
As you refined me with fire
Making your desires my desires
Burning off all that inspires
🤷🏽♀️
Me to do wrong in this life
Following every lascivious wind
Looking for love in all the wrong places
When I should have been
🤷🏽♀️
looking within my own spirit
To ensure it was connected to you
For within my spirit you’ve
Already decided what I was born to do
🤷🏽♀️
In this world
My purpose and my place
I will do your will Father,
Till we meet face to face
~

Till we meet face to face.” Amen 🙏🏽❤️

Well done Dorothy! There is sustainable meaning in this single word, “purpose.” God created us to bring Him glory.
