Has this ever happened to you
I know it’s happened to me
That when I wanna sleep
That’s when God wants to speak

I mean chatty Cathying
All in my head
I’m writing in my sleep now
While I’m laying in bed

I’m glad He’s talking
At least He’s saying something
Cause I hate when He’s silent
Cause on his door I’d be thumping

Asking for relief
From some sufferings and such
I’ll just let Him talk
Sir, thank you very much
