Mirrored Image

Each trial will reveal a piece of Him as we grow closer and yet closer still to mirror his nature and character in the earth.

Usually when I think I’ve gotten close to learning one lesson, here comes another piece of sandpaper rubbing another flaw of mine. It makes me wonder, hey

Whatcha want from me
Guess you’ll know when you see it
When I show what you’ve called
When I finally be it

That thing that you’ve purposed
For me to be in this earth
That you’ve created only for me
Since my birth to rehearse

things you’ve designed
Where only my name’s written
That only I can live out
What you’ve ordained; hidden

Inside of me
Is that what you seek
from me?
