He made You in His image
No discriminating this
Your visage was His doing
So don’t you ever wish
To be like someone else
Be other than you are
For the Father’s insulted
When you dim your own star
studded gems we are
Yes we shine, we’re His best
For we are in His image
Nothing smaller, nothing less
Than the crown of His creation
Ever mindful of us all
Even when Adam fell
He had a plan, he had a cause
God so loved the world
That He gave his only begotten son
That we may return to that image
Unharmed and an undone
One for the Father
Two for the son
Three for the Holy Ghost
The three made one
So are we in the earth
A reflection of his will
Knowing only He is God
And that we must be still
Basking in his Glory
Still living in His Grace
Yes wonderfully made we are
Wow, God has good taste
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

This poem is marvelous!! Is it set to music? If not, it should be!! I particularly related to these lines:
” the Father’s insulted
When you dim your own star”
Shine on, {{{Dorothy}}}!!! ❤

What a great reminder. ❤ In my days of low self-esteem, remembering this was essential for me. I especially liked that we should not dim our own stars. 🙂
