The devil’s always lurking
Tryin’ to start some mess
Always in somebody’s business
Always messing with the blessed
•
Are the pure in heart
For they shall see God
And with him on our side
It makes no difference how hard
•
The enemy fights
Trying to knock us off our game
We’re still in it to win it
We’ll prevail just the same
•
Yesterday, today and forevermore
For our God never changes
He’s dependable and reliable
Always working rearranging
•
All in our favor
All things working for our good
No weapon formed shall prosper
Not in our neighborhood
