I’ve proven myself worthy
Stood up to every fight
Even when I wanted to quit
And cried throughout the night
•
What’s taking it so long
And why am I still here
In this place of constant nowhere
This place where I have fear
•
About my future livelihood
What lies in store for me
I loathe this place of uncertainty
How much longer will I be
•
Here in this nebulous place
No direction or any kinda map
Just wandering from day to day
And in between taking naps
•
Sacks of clothes and stuff
Piled to the ceiling from the floor
Living out of a suitcase
Virtually and so much more
•
How long shall I be here
This place of living hell
How much longer must I stay here
How much longer shall I dwell
•
In a place of uncertainty
A place where I feel unsure
I shall wait for my savior
In him will I endure
•
Hardness as a good soldier
The Father said that I would
So what the enemy meant for evil
God will work it for my good

Yes, isn’t it reassuring to know He always has our back?!

Dorothy, you captured the contrast between our circumstances and where God is leading us. God’s peace!
