Night and light
Are alike to you
You can see out
When I can’t see through
The dimly lit night
That gives me a fright
At the sight
Of creatures great and small
That crawl
And most of all,
The deep, dark night

“You can see out when you can’t see through…” Great line that contributes to the night fright.

I love your poetry Dorothy. It’s very honest and to the point and has so much meaning. I only got into writing poetry last year after a very serious car crash. It must have knocked something loose….silver lining, lol
