Night and light
Are alike to you
You can see out
When I can’t see through
The dimly lit night
That gives me a fright
At the sight
Of creatures great and small
That crawl
And most of all,
The deep, dark night

I love your poetry Dorothy. It’s very honest and to the point and has so much meaning. I only got into writing poetry last year after a very serious car crash. It must have knocked something loose….silver lining, lol
