Nah, I’m good

Mom: are you going with us to the family breakfast this morning

me: in my thoughts

I don’t wanna go where I’m not wanted
Be uncomfortable, not free – daunted

By judging eyes
Lips laced with lies
By ones who despise
My wandering lines

Who envy me so
And this I do know
For their eyes did show
Their faces without glow

So I’ll stay, home
today

Me: Nah, I’m good

  1. Such a beautiful mother needs only to discover, when its time for breakfast, that secret palace- a sanctuary to have her feast completely…drama free. Then she can simply smile whenever they secretly- wink. Be blessed, Dorthy.
