Thought Patrol

Thoughts can make you sad
Thoughts can make you glad
Thoughts can make you miserable
Or be the best you’ve ever had

You determine what you think
Only you can have control
You’re the guardian of your mind
It is you who patrols

What and who comes out
And what, if any, comes in
You create your thought life
Cause only you can defend

The health of your mind
What your thoughts consist of
It is you who decides
What your thoughts resist cause

If you don’t
Then something else will
I suggest you take charge
You foot the bill

It’s what you choose to think that determines what you’ll have.
