Because the things your heart longs to see come to pass seem to linger – taking its own sweet time, your heart begins to lose hope.
And you want to release the visions you have because crushed expectations are too painful to relive. It’s easier on your heart that way. Or so you think.
When that happens to me, God gently reminds me and says,
“You can’t take out
That which I put in
You didn’t start it
And you cannot end
What I began in the spirit
What I started in your heart
I meant for it to be there
Because I made it apart
Of my plans for your life
Your purpose to fulfill
That thing, you will finish
For it’s apart of my will.”
When I let go of my vision, God gave it back.
