Over, thankfully

Overthinking. There’s a new word. And everybody seems to be doing it nowadays. No wonder anxiety and depression is on the loose.

Here’s another new one. Overthankful. Yep, I just made it up. Take that Webster!

No more pity parties for me
I’ve had my share of sad
I’m done being unhappy
From now on, I’m being glad

The sun’s shining brightly
And so is the moon
The leaves are dancing wildly
And I’m going to too

As soon as I quit thinking
Stop stinking up my mind
Now on I’m being more thankful
More grateful cause I’m

thankful for life’s living
When I rise and both fall
Because others aren’t so lucky,
They haven’t lived at all

See you in the morning

Each morning everyone gathered as much as they needed, and when the sun grew hot, it melted away. (Exodus 16:21 NIV)
