To be a dreamer can be dangerous at times. In a good way I mean. The dreams can overshadow real life.
It’s good to dream. It’s just that at some point, you have to wake up.
Sometimes I see you as mine
And I breath a sigh of relief
Other times I think it’s impossible
And turn sad underneath
The smile and the laughter
The cheers and hopefulness
There are days I long so eagerly
To hold you and caress
Your face your hands
Walk with you through
On the beach
Where none other can reach
Us as we escape reality
Grab hold of what we’ve dreamed
Embrace the time we’re given
How blurry this all can seem
Dream world is so much nicer than awake world don’t you think?
