Begin Again

This is another oldie but goodie from my poetry archives.

Begin again if you make a mistake. There’s no such thing as never or too late. Just

Begin again it’s not too late
Starting over is not a bad thing
Starting over can mean glad things

Ends are overrated
Who knows the outcome anyway
Completions are exaggerated
It’s based on what you say

How you see the conclusion
Is all up to you
How the end comes to fruition
Is all up to you

You say when
When you’ve had enough
You say it’s over
Forget that other stuff

No one controls your end,
Fate or anything else
You decide what’s destiny
With God and with yourself

So bring in the New Year
With hope and expectation
Resolve to find your end,
Your call, your destination
